Get Inspired by the Wonder of Virtual Science & Innovation!

The team that brought Virtual Crawley STEMfest to classrooms and homes last autumn has created a brand-new free virtual interactive careers event for primary and secondary students. Going live from 9.00am on Friday 5th March, this set of free STEM resources and careers information is designed to support schools during British Science Week and through to the 26 March, inclusive.

Students can ignite their curiosity in science and innovation as they navigate their way around an interactive careers exhibition, exploring a variety of companies showcasing a diverse range of information about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) career paths within their business.  Included is a new stimulating futuristic section to increase student interactivity and the popular ‘Desert Island Risk’ and ‘What’s My Job?’ – pre-recorded videos by STEM professionals.

Students can also enter the Sussex STEM Innovation Challenge, to design the toothbrushes of the future! An introductory video and instructions can be seen at the Sussex STEM virtual exhibition stand, in the careers section of the event.

Supported by employers including Sussex Health and Care Partnership (SHCP), CGG, Institute of Acoustics (IOA) and Specsavers.
